Founded in the LaSalle Park neighborhood in 2011, 4 Hands Brewing Company has grown to become the largest craft brewery in the St. Louis area. Brewing a wide range of year-round, seasonal and limited release beers, 4 Hands is also home to 1220 Spirits, a botanically inspired craft distillery, and Withered Oak, a line of uniquely finished and artfully blended whiskeys. With a strong focus on community support and philanthropy, the brewery has given back over $375,000 to local nonprofits through its City Wide Mission.

“I wanted to share the story behind Incarnation, a beer designed with a philosophy often found in Japanese and Italian cuisine: sourcing the finest ingredients and preparing them in a way that allows them to shine.
The process began when we discovered an experimental hop, then known only as HB369. Its aroma was incredible, and we found that using it late in the brewing process yielded lush tropical flavors and aromas. That hop is now known as Mosaic, one of the most popular varieties in American craft brewing.
By using a simple malt bill and a neutral yeast strain, we created a pedestal for the Mosaic hops to stand on. Incarnation is a vehicle for enjoying this singular, amazing ingredient, which is why I am so passionate about this beer.”]()
